Fast, direct and with a host of cute finishes up his sleeve.
Faas Wilkes - The Flying Dutchman
Просмотров 310Месяц назад
A pioneer who played in Serie A and La Liga at a time when the KNVB - and much of northern Europe - was very uptight about professional football. His eight seasons abroad cost him more than 40 caps. Yet he remained the Netherlands' top scorer - with 35 goals in 38 appearances - until the late 90s. A wizard of the dribble.

Brazil 1986 - One More Time

Just because they came after the 1982 team doesn't mean they weren't thrilling. Long overdue for a reappraisal.
Lubos Kubik - Bomber

There is footage of him scoring with his right foot; it was perfectly serviceable, in terms of technique. But you can understand why he didn't bother with it most of the time. (Credit where it's due; many of the clips form here: ruclips.net/video/bPr4gxuBEXI/видео.html)
Giancarlo Antognoni - Antonio

Never in a hurry, always in control and constantly bubbling with ideas. Nobody played more Serie A games for Fiorentina, nor has a Fiorentina player made more appearances for the Azzurri. A brilliant player whose only failing was a lack of luck.
Didi - Dry Leaf
Просмотров 6992 месяца назад
An attacking midfielder who combined grace and stamina. The main man at the 1958 World Cup, eclipsing even Pele, he went on to win the 1962 tournament as well. The 'folha seca' (dry leaf) free-kick was a speciality of his.
Branco - Missile launcher

The man who gave Roberto Carlos licence to shoot like a maniac. There's an assist at the beginning of this montage, because it shouldn't be just be one thunderbastard after another. But it's mainly thunderbastards.
Rainer Bonhof - Cannonball
Просмотров 2,8 тыс.3 месяца назад
A World Cup winner who helped Borussia Moenchengladbach to four Bundesliga titles from defensive midfield. His side hustle was regular goal of the month candidates. One of the truest strikers of the old heavy balls; he could bend them to his will. A favourite - and winner - at Valencia and Koln too.

Frank Vercauteren - The Little Prince
I’m a Spurs supporter because of this genius
He is doing bolero on the pitch
Genius
Great player with an impeccable taste in music.
I can confirm he was pleased with this backing track!
The Iron Curtain is a much more fitting nickname. The best goalkeeper I 've watched play and the second best was Preud' Homme
I try to avoid repeating titles that have already been used on other videos. Yes, a phenomenal keeper
Grazie sempre per essere stato laziale, un fuoriclasse ❤
After Sivori another of the most phenomenal player ever.
Ottimo video ed in particolare soundtrack
Magnifique le Best❤
Efectivamente Canal infravalorado
Eder, special player for Brazil
Remember me?
Amazing video before Zico, Maradona and Messi. Sivori !
Bulgava os adversários
Qualidade..👏
He had some crazy core strength
He was brilliant but he flopped at Lazio despite some moments of brilliance. And as a Newcastle fan I thought Peter Beardsleys second stint with us he was a much better player then Gazza was sorry like. I think it was more Gazza’s attitude people fell in love with but there was better players then him.
In Sparky's day, British forwards usually played in pairs, with a solid hold-up man and a quick one to finish - think, in their different ways, Dalglish and Rush or Withe and Woodcock or Shawe. Hughes seemed to have the qualities of the former, hence attempts to pair him with Lineker and McClair, but in fact he was far more effective either as a lone striker or the finisher to Stapleton or Cantona.
Falcão was amazing. Look at this! (he kicked with his right foot) ruclips.net/video/VHh3zqgH_Xc/видео.html&ab_channel=ContraTudo%26ContraTodos
What a player. So many different kinds of finishes for some goals that I've never seen from another player. One of a kind.
It's funny how people denigrate Gazza now cos of how his career went, but at his peak he one of the best ever. Built like a tank, with quick feet and the ability to glide past defenders effortlessly. Incredible.
Gazza was a lot quicker than people gave him credit for! A truly gifted footballer, sad his personal life has troubled him!
Rensenbrink channel is the best ❤ Fonseca and many others 🔥🔥
If gqzza had the modest,he would have been the best import EVER,guess at that time he missed partying, then he joined rangers and it was PARTY time
Drunken idiotic bigot
Great video, I really appreciate the many camera angles that I've not seen before and a few clips that were totally new to me.
0:44 What was I supposed to do? He got mud on my sock. Look!
As a kid I used to watch Souness and thought that's how you should play football. I found out I was far better suited to rugby.
You can only blame the referees who allowed this
Not many of these flashes of talent actually led to goals. Unfulfilled potential….
By the time Gascoigne had emerged, largely unscathed, from the scandal involving the bar of soap, he had scored close to 3,500 goals for club and country.
Buen player

as good a left foot as you will ever see Arsenal Legend
was a massive fan of Gazza growing up, watching these highlights now it's evident how he always seemed to be slightly off balance and stretching.
ridiculous how good he was. one of the best ever
Great player.
Gênio da bola!!! Jogava brincando.
LEGEND! Forza Lazio sempre!
To think he did this when he was an alcoholic with serious relationship issues and mental health
He was an animal but an animal who could certainly play.
Да, уникальный вратарь с неповторимой кошачьей пластикой. Ничего похожего я больше не видел
It pains me ta say this, even being ah hard core Arsenal fan, that Pep Guardiola, would break tha bank 🏦, or literally "sell his soul" no religious antics intended, ta purchase this maestro and genius😢😢😢😢😢
In an interview, he states that after footballing sessions, he'd spend sacrificial hours kicking the ball, against tha wall 🧱G⚽️H🧱 and simply it's how he developed tha skill. Young inspiring ones, it's sacrificial hard wurk, far tha real talent ta be revealed
Arsenal hard core fan, I'm The one of many famous players from our friends on the northern joint of London, but certainly tha most talented and loved.....Glenn Hoddle. Talk about class, finesse and elegance, tha Lord abundantly bless this man with it. Majestic and unassuming character!! Legend of England 🇬🇧 Ah believe ah speak far ALL Arsenal fans here. My eternally favourite player, plus he's ah born again Christian ✝️ 💙 ❤️
scored on first game for spurs, swindon, england
Good player
The problem with England has been the quality of managers has never matched the quality of players we've had.
Golden and fantastic team !! From Japan 🎉!! Best !!
For a so called fat bloke, he can shift a bit. That was some skill on display.
